REFLECTION

Experience
After these 14 study weeks, I went from being a blog novice to finally becoming proficient in using blogs(Even though I'm still a rookie), all thanks to Mr. VINOD NAIR's strict requirements on us. Of course, as the saying goes, "a strict teacher makes a good disciple", this is the truth. This teacher has strict requirements for our blog content. It is very high and requires us to complete our blog according to the format of the instructions. Therefore, I learned a lot of professional skills and knowledge in typesetting during this period. Through these 14 weeks of continuous polishing and modification of the blog, I finally have a basic understanding of blogging. From the initial "learning" from others' understanding and mastery, to learning to write and improve myself to create a blog with a unique style of my own.

Observations
Over the span of these 14 weeks, my awareness of genre and its various characteristics and subtleties has certainly heightened. I've developed a habit of observing typography everywhere I go, engaging in subconscious analyses—it's become an enjoyable pastime. Although I've long held the belief in the significance of typography, it's only now that I'm truly grasping the immense role it plays in design and, by extension, our daily lives. Additionally, I found great pleasure in observing the work of my peers throughout the semester. Witnessing the diverse interpretations of various concepts added an element of fun and excitement to the overall experience.

Findings
I used to think that typesetting was only related to layout design and only involved the layout of pictures and text. It was not until these 14 weeks that I realized that typesetting design involves all aspects, not only language and text, pictures and books, but also the entire history of human language development. In the field of typesetting, take our current blog as an example, typesetting is inseparable from it.
