Reflective Writing
I think the "personal concept and story" of this design can be used as reflective writing, so I will quote it directly.

In the future city,7-Eleven becomes the center for athletes to get energy. Theprotagonist survives through competition, relying on natural forces (such as sunflowers and technological props. The cartoon bear symbolizes pure technology and helps people cope with challenges.

Reflective Writing

DESCRIPTION:

For this, I first added a level effect. In this effect, I adjusted the preset to "Dark Midtones" and adjusted the middle value to 0.75. Leave the rest unchanged, then enabled the layer mask and applied shadows on it, and then added the color level. I added a Hue/Saturation effect to the layer. The Hue is 0, the Saturation is -14, and the Lightness is -21. The default custom range is the whole image. Then I enable the layer mask and apply a shadow underneath. Then I add the previous two effects. I added a photo filter, the filter is Sepia, the color is #ac7a33, the density is 75% while retaining the brightness. Finally, I added a curve effect on all layers and set the parameters as follows ↓ This is what I exported after the picture.

Digital Photography and Imaging / Week 7 - Week 10 / PROJECT 2B: POSTER DESIGN (30%)

TITLE:

MY ORDINARY LIFE

DESCRIPTION:

This poster design conveys the idea of a healthy and disciplined lifestyle through minimalism and contrast. With "NO DRINK" and "NO SMOKE" as core slogans, it uses symbols like a timer to represent time management and avoiding bad habits. The yellow accents and black-and-white contrast create strong visual impact, while the central figure back symbolizes the path toward healthier life choices.

Reflective Writing

Having written this, I really want to complain Mr. Fauzi Yusoff. In this Google Classroom post, Project 2A and Project 2B were clearly separated, but in the final Google Docs, they were combined together. Should I write a separate "personal reflective writing" or just a summary? Forget it, I choose the latter.

Final Work
Reflective Writing

As expected of the final project, the entire process from photographing to cutting out the image, to making a poster, and then to making a video of the dynamic poster took 3-5 days, not including the time for writing PPT and drafting. If we add the work of supplementing the e-portfolio, it would take about a week at most.

Reflection
Through the study this semester, I have gained an in-depth understanding of the skills and knowledge of the module Digital Photography and Imaging. Why do I write "in-depth"? Because this is the second time I have retaken this module. When I enrolled in September 2023, I learned, studied and mastered the 2 software, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe After Effects, through this module (by the way, I also took Typography and Illustration and Visual Narrative during that period). So instead of writing that I have a deep understanding of this module, it is better to write that I have a deep understanding of the importance of e-portfolio organization. After all, compared with the other two modules, I failed this module and had to retake it because I did not do the "Final Compilation and Reflection" (this was also the case with Mr. Fauzi Yusoff. The 2023 course was a full online course, but in 2024, the class schedule was changed to offline, but most of the course time was arranged as online courses again. Forget it, I won’t complain about this). I hope that after I do the "Final Compilation and Reflection" post this time, I won’t be considered to have failed the course.
