Submission: WEEK 10
TOTAL MARK: 30%

  • Process:
It wasn't until the ninth week of class that I realized this was an assignment, not a Lecture...
Then the poster I originally designed was
this↓.

As a result, in the tenth week of class, Mr. Fauzi Yusoff gave me this ↑ feedback, and I suddenly realized that something was wrong.

But fortunately, it was not too late and the deadline had not yet arrived, so I quickly redesigned one and added...

PART 1: WEEK 7
  1. Research about your topic 1.Study and gather all related information about your topic. I found the following ↓ 3 movie posters as references for the mood board.      Venom: The Last Dance                     https://pin.it/6m2hp94pI                 Deadpool & Wolverine  2.Write a summary about your topic
  2. Quotes of the day: Discipline Shapes Freedom

    Summary of your design concept:

When designing this poster, I focused on the balance between discipline and the freedom it creates. I used structured lines and grids to indicate order and control, contrasted with fluid shapes that symbolize liberation. A monochromatic base with bright accents like yellow reflects the spark of transformation. In the center, I placed a path leading outward, symbolizing personal growth through self-discipline. Visual cues like a clock emphasize the importance of time management, while the bold font of "Self-discipline shapes freedom" reinforces this message. The goal is to inspire others to see self-discipline as the foundation for true freedom, rather than a limitation.

PART 2: (WEEK 9)

2. Define your concept
    2. Sketch your mock up poster:
SKETCH #1 (Hand Drawing)
SKETCH #2 (Digital Sketch)

PART 3: WEEK 9

3.Start to develop your poster
1. Draft the digital poster based on your sketches.
2. Develop the composition techniques using Digital Photography/ Photo Imaging.
3. Apply textures & effects if necessary.
4. Finalize your design with color correction (Adjustment Layer)

This ↑ was the original design, but after the feedback from the class in week 10, it was scrapped.
Because I need to use the photos I took in real life, these  are the materials I got after taking the photos.

So... the ↓ following is
FINAL POSTER

TITLE: MY ORDINARY LIFE

SUMMARY:

This poster design conveys the idea of a healthy and disciplined lifestyle through minimalism and contrast. With "NO DRINK" and "NO SMOKE" as core slogans, it uses symbols like a timer to represent time management and avoiding bad habits. The yellow accents and black-and-white contrast create strong visual impact, while the central figure back symbolizes the path toward healthier life choices.
