REFLECTION

• What have I learnt in this module? 

I learned some important design principles such as contrast, repetition, alignment, intimacy, and hierarchy. These principles help me make informed decisions during the design process and improve the visual impact and legibility of my designs.

• What did I enjoy the most?

My favorite part of this module was learning about design principles and practicing design projects. By studying design principles, I gained a deeper understanding of how to create engaging visuals. These principles are not just theory, they have broad application in practical design and help me better convey my message and guide my audience’s attention.

• What did I not enjoy the most?

There's nothing I don't like about this module.

• What have I learnt about myself through this module?

I find myself feeling overwhelmed at times when faced with a blank canvas, which makes me realize that I need to keep finding inspiration and nurturing my creativity. I began to pay more attention to the design elements in my surroundings, draw ideas from them, and learn how to translate these inspirations into actual design works.

• What has changed and what has not in my learning journey?

Change : During the learning process, I gradually became familiar with the various stages of the design process, from requirements analysis to concept creation, sketching, design production and evaluation. This enables me to better plan and manage design projects and increase work efficiency.

No Change :  My passion and love for design has never changed, both before and after my studies. I am still curious and passionate about design, and am willing to invest time and energy to learn and explore more design fields.

• What could be improved in this module?

While I learned to find inspiration and try out new design ideas, I also needed to constantly expand my creative mind. Participating in more creative exercises, studying design works in different fields, and communicating with others can help me gain richer sources of creativity.
